Tennessee State Museum
The Tennessee State Museum can trace its roots all the way back to a small museum opened in the Nashville public square all the way back in 1817. Over the past two centuries the Tennessee State Museum (and the history it preserves) has grown tremendously, and the new building encompasses an impressive 130,000 square-feet of fascinating exhibits that visitors can come see for free!
