Voted Middle Tennessee’s Best Fall Festival two years running and named a top pumpkin patch in the state by the Travel Channel, Lucky Ladd Farms is the one families circle on the calendar every year. Thousands of pumpkins in every shape, size, and color fill the patch, and the farm’s corn maze, caramel apples, homemade kettle corn, pumpkin spice lattes, and fresh apple cider donuts make it easy to stretch a visit into a full day. Beyond the harvest festival, guests can add on animal encounters with lemurs, raccoons, sloths, and armadillos. Tickets start at $12 for a Pick-A-Day pass, with Any-Day passes at $32 and group rates (20+) at $17 per person; season passes are also available for anyone planning multiple trips through October.
Walden Pumpkin Farm

Walden Pumpkin Farm keeps the day simple: free admission and parking, with an optional $12 activity wristband (ages 4–64) that unlocks everything on the hill. That includes a corn maze, climbing wall, Tennessee slip-n-slide, hay mountain, duck races, calf roping, cornhole, pumpkin bowling, and the Pumpkin Train barrel ride around the maze. A relaxed hayride is included with the wristband, and you don’t need one at all to browse the country store or the food depot, where BBQ, burgers, funnel cakes, and pumpkin fudge are on the menu. It’s a great option for families who want a lower-cost day with plenty to keep kids moving.
Shuckles Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch at Fiddle Dee Farms

Shuckles is built for kids who want to run off energy: an 8-acre corn maze, jumping pillow, giant spider web climb, 40-foot super slide, ninja climbing tree, obstacle course, and more than 30 attractions in total, including pumpkin skee-ball, a rope maze, and pool soccer. General admission covers the corn maze, hayride, and most of the play areas, and Shuckle Bucks punch cards (Fun Pack $5, Power Pack $12, Family Pack $30) cover the extras. Because the farm limits daily attendance, tickets need to be purchased online in advance; walk-ups aren’t guaranteed a spot.
The Gentry’s Farm

The Gentry’s Farm has been a seventh-generation family tradition in Franklin, and the fall lineup leans into hands-on, imaginative play rather than carnival rides. Pumpkin picking and the retail area are free to browse, so families who just want pumpkins for the porch don’t need a ticket at all. Stepping into the Activity Area ($13 per person; free for kids under 2 and adults 65+) opens up a corn field maze, wagon rides, a tractor playground, tire swings, the farm arcade, a grain barn, and mini-farm putt-putt. Plan on 1–2 hours to make it through everything, and note that tickets are sold at the gate only; there’s no advance online purchase. Pumpkins and gourds are priced individually, typically $2–$12.
